Files from the committee which licensed war aid and charity groups include applications; reports; minutes; and correspondence regarding fund solicition. Applications provide organization name, address, and purpose; officers' names and addresses, solicitation amount, purpose, and territorial limits; license approval or denial, and issuance date. Daily reports to the State Council of Defense include daily application filing statistics; filings to date; rejections; issuances; under consideration; revocations; expirations; extensions; and reinstatements. Cook County License Committee weekly meeting minutes contain applicant lists; fund raising plans; and whether licenses were granted. Correspondence concerns funds; applications; and application examinations by the Citizens War Board of Chicago.
